Application Policy

Applications will only be considered once they are complete. A complete application is made up of the following:

  • A fully completed, original application form and references. Only in exceptional circumstances for e.g. to ensure we receive the necessary information before a closing date, will faxed forms be accepted. In such cases the facsimile will only be used to process the application; the original copy must still be forwarded to us or supplied before the specified registration date. All sections of the application form must be honestly and completely filled in. While we acknowledge the personal nature of some of the questions, your answers are needed to accurately assess your application, and to determine whether we have the necessary skills / expertise to facilitate your discipleship. All applications are treated confidentially; information supplied is only available to the leadership of the program of study for which you have applied.
  • 1 x ID photo for your application form.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS SOUTH AFRICAN CITIZENS
$30.00 (US) or equivalent YOYL / Community Application Fee: R 150.00
MTS Application Fee: R 250.00
  •  One Pastor’s Confidential Reference. Should you be unable to supply a reference from your pastor please contact the course leadership for alternative arrangements.
  • A second Confidential Reference. A close friend, relative or someone that knows you well enough can complete this. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that Hatfield Training Centre receives the confidential references before the stipulated closing date.

Interviews will be arranged as necessary, and at the discretion of the leadership of the course. International students and students living outside Pretoria will be interviewed telephonically. Once a completed application is received, the leadership of the course for which you are applying will prayerfully consider the application.

All applicants will be notified of the result of their application as soon as possible.

Accommodation is limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

International students should make every effort to register early to accommodate possible delays in their study permit applications.

  • All international applicants must ensure that their pastor has completed the relevant section on the “Pastor’s Reference Form”.

CORRESPONDENCE STUDENTS

The following procedures ONLY apply to correspondence students.

Please take careful note of the following policies and procedures, as they will greatly assist you in your application process. Enrolments for the Correspondence program are accepted throughout the year and there are no specific cut-off dates.
